ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Since founding BRETT DESIGN in 2007, former fashion designer turned product designer, Brett Beldock has gained acclaim for her crisp, creative, yet off-beat approach to home furnishings and decor. Brett draws inspiration from her extensive knowledge in the history of decorative arts and fashion, both current and past, to create one-of-a-kind furniture and wallpaper designs.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Ferran was formed in 2000 by New York City based designer and creative directory Kathryn Ferran Kayajan. A former architectural designer, Kayajan attended the school of the of Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, and Parsons School of Design in NYC. She then worked professionally for the esteemed architectural firm Gensler; inspired by the creative process she formed her own company. Ferran designs are inspired through Kayajan's extensive travels around the globe, her patterns are imagined from places and cultures with a hint to the past, combined with her artisan sensibility, is what gives Ferran its unique style. 

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Trained at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, fine artist Alex Mason created each of Ferrick Mason’s popular patterns and colorways by drawing straight from her work in the painting studio, and incorporating the instinct for color and love of naturally-inspired, organic forms that informs her canvases. The result is a fabric line that is both delicate and bold, youthful and classic, of-the-minute and rendered by hand, with graphic, abstract repeats and references to the sinuous flora and fauna that inspire Alex’s art.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Alexis Audette was raised by a family of printmakers, painting conservators and art historians: enthusiastic naturalists all. She spent her childhood summers in Vermont meandering through the fields and woods that surrounded the family home, an old farmhouse with bookshelves that beckoned with titles such as Masterpieces of Flemish Painting and How to Know the Ferns. Growing up in a world that revolved around art history and nature shaped her passions for printmaking and plants, both of which inspire her designs for Mazy Path. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and veteran of the textile industry, she lives with her family in New York and frequently wanders to Vermont.  

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Ottoline is a London-based Dutch design house founded by Ottoline de Vries. Known for her playful use of colour and composition, her unique and contemporary patterns are inspired by her love of nature, as well as her appreciation of historic styles, cultures and art forms.It was whilst a lawyer in Amsterdam that Ottoline developed a passion for design, restoring antiques and decorating them with paint and wallpaper in her spare time. When she couldn’t find the patterns she was looking for, she started creating her own. Initially bringing joy to the homes of friends and family, demand grew for her carefully crafted pieces, inspiring the launch of her first wallpaper collection in 2015.

Seema Krish occupies a special place in the fabric and design world. Born in Bombay, she is steeped in the old-world ethics of handmade craftsmanship, ancient traditions and extraordinary color. Seema is known for her modern traditional aesthetic in the medium of textiles. She has a modernist’s eye for innovation and technology and creates thoughtful textiles that speak of the maker’s hand. Seema’s design philosophy is about bringing life into living.

ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Wife and husband team Kyra and Robertson Hartnett founded twenty2 over two decades ago, and debuted their first collection of modern hand-screen printed wallpapers in 2003 at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in New York City. Their launch- and subsequent collections introduced over the next decade- helped usher in a revival of an age-old design tradition.
